Liability For Fatal Fall From Bridge?

Recently in South Florida, a young life was ended when a college soccer player fell off a railroad bridge.

Kyle Conrad died Dec. 11 after he hit his head when he fell from the bridge near the Las Olas Riverfront, where he and his best friend had tried to take a shortcut across the New River.

While we do not yet know all of the details of this situation, it is a tragedy.  If you have been in a situation in which a relative has died from a tragic accident, it is worthwhile to consult an attorney to determine whether there is any liability on behalf of the party which operated or manned the bridge or owned the property.
